What Personal Date Do I Collect?

I may collect some or all of the following:-

Address if order is to be delivered

Any other details relevant to your order (date, venue, number of guests etc)

If payment is received by bank transfer I will also have a record of the sort code and account number of the bank account you paid with.  These transactions are recorded by my bank but I do not make a separate record of this data.

How Do I Collect Personal Data?

I receive your personal data when you approach me with an enquiry.  The initial contact may be via Facebook Messenger, Le Bon Cake’s  Facebook Page, via text, email, the contact form on my website or via a face to face meeting.  Occasionally I will request your email address to enable me to send designs and other documents relevant to your order.  Occasionally I will request your telephone number to discuss collection or delivery arrangements.

I am not responsible for the privacy policy of third party websites that you use to contact Le Bon Cakes and do not control or have access to the cookies associated with these websites.   I advise you to read the privacy policy of these websites before entering any personal information.

Why Do I Collect Personal Data?

I collect and store personal data simply to enable me to contact you regarding your order and produce the product you have ordered from me.

How Will the Personal Data Be Used?

The data will only be used to enable me to discuss and produce the product you order from Le Bon Cake and to arrange collection or delivery if applicable.

Security of Personal Data

I keep a paper copy of all order forms.  These forms only contain your name and the order details. Contact details (i.e. Email address or telephone number) are kept in a password protected document.

Who Will Your Data Be Shared With?

Nobody.  I do not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless I have your permission or are required by law to do so.  I will never use your personal information to send you promotional information from Le Bon Cakes or third parties.

Your Rights
